Cars for Homes Vehicle Donation Program
There are families in your community who are living in substandard conditions and simply
need a hand up, not a hand out. Habitat for Humanity is providing that hand up and you can help!
Habitat's Cars for Homes™ program uses your vehicle donation to help build
decent, affordable homes in partnership with low income families. Click

Matching Gifts Stretch Donations
Your financial gifts to our affiliate might be able to be doubled or tripled if your company sponsors a matching-gift program. Thousands of small and large companies do! If you don't know whether your company matches charitable gifts or if Habitat is on their list, you can ask your personnel office. For more information, call Habitat's matching gift office at 1-800-HABITAT, ext. 430.
Keep Your Love Alive
One of the most powerful ways you can help our affiliate is by remembering us in your will. What better way to tell your loved ones you really cared about the joy that came from helping others through your work with our organization. It isn't something to be taken lightly nor something most of us want to think about. But once you make the decision, you may find it to give a feeling of satisfaction like few other things. Speak with a financial advisor or attorney regarding establishing foundations, annual gifts or annuities to maintain your legacy long after your physical contributions have ended.
Can My Small Contribution Really Make a Difference?
Absolutely! While we certainly encourage large donations, you should know that even small donations can make a huge difference when it comes to a family's home. Here's what your contributions may fund:
| $10 | one floor joist |
| $20 | one 50-lb box of nails |
| $25 | one roof truss |
| $40 | 5 gallons of paint |
| $50 | one interior door |
| $75 | 8 sheets of wallboard |
| $100 | 3 boxes of flooring materials |
| $250 | 50 bundles of roof shingles |
(These items and dollar amounts are representative of, but not limited to, what your contribution might purchase, actual costs vary.)
Does Habitat Accept Non-Monetary donations?
Sure! We've worked before with donors interested in contributing new or unused tiles, shingles, appliances, doors and more. We've also accepted appreciated property as donations, so if you would like to donate, please contact us. As stated above, nearly all of your donations will directly fund a family's dream. What is the price of that?
