Youth Building (Build, Forms, Rules)

What is Youth United?

Youth United (YU) is a Habitat for Humanity program for youth ages 5-25. The YU leader and team motto is: “Raise Awareness, Raise Funds, Raise the Roof.” YU leadership opportunities (and year-round family activities) teach our youth to help fulfill a family’s dream of home ownership, create lifetime friendships and have fun while contributing to eliminate poverty housing in our local area.

What is a Blitz Build?

The Blitz Build is a unique experience where numerous participants and adult leaders "blitz build" as much of a home’s outer structure within a week. Some larger Habitat chapters are able to build an entire Habitat house in two weeks! It's a fun and engaging way to kick-start a project and make some rapid progress. Our seventh partner house, was started by a Blitz Build. Click here to see how the construction progressed.
