HFHMBA Welcomes Another Family into the Habitat Family!
Congratulations to the D'Alessio family, currently of Woodbridge, New Jersey, to be our 8th Partner Family! They were selected during an exhaustive process that was excrutiatingly difficult based on the widespread need for decent housing, so we offer them our congratulations and welcome them into the Habitat family! Youth United Rocks East Windsor
Our affiliate has a strong relationship with Youth United, a Habitat for Humanity program that brings community youth ages 5-25 together to fully sponsor and build a home with a local family. The youth are the leaders, planners, fund raisers, public relations specialists and builders. They work together to raise money and awareness, while youth ages 16-25 build the house on site under the close supervision of our construction leaders. Most importantly, through this program youth help fulfill a family's dream of having their own home. It is the adventure of a lifetime! Click here to see how Youth United is helping one of our partner families realize their dreams. You can also click here to learn more about Youth United and how you can help.
